Most men who ask about this have already put the work in. Years of squats, hip thrusts, deadlifts, and progressive overload, and the glutes still sit flat. Trousers hang badly. There is no shape in the side profile. In some cases the muscle has grown but the shape has not, because muscle can only fill the frame your skeletal structure and fat distribution give you.

That is not a training failure. Glute shape is heavily determined by pelvic structure, insertion points, and where your body stores subcutaneous fat, none of which respond to more volume in the gym.

What This Treatment Actually Is

This is a non-surgical procedure using injectable dermal filler. It is not a Brazilian Butt Lift, it is not fat transfer, and it involves no surgery, no general anaesthetic, and no illegal silicone.

We use two products, usually together.

HYAcorp is a hyaluronic acid filler formulated specifically for body contouring rather than facial work. It provides immediate volume and shape, visible on the day.

Lanluma is a poly-L-lactic acid filler. It is bio-stimulatory, meaning it prompts your own body to produce new collagen in the treated area over the following months. The result builds gradually and lasts up to five years.

Using both gives you the immediate change from HYAcorp and the long-term structural build from Lanluma.

What Men Typically Want Corrected

• Flat or shallow glutes that have not responded to years of resistance training

• Lack of side projection, where the profile is straight from lower back to thigh

• Hip dips, the indentation between the hip and upper thigh, filled to square off the silhouette

• Volume loss after significant weight change, including rapid loss on GLP-1 medication

Masculine Shape, Not a Rounded One

This is where male treatment planning genuinely diverges, and it is the reason to be selective about who does it.

The female glute aesthetic is typically round, with a projected upper shelf and a pronounced inward curve at the waist. Applying that plan to a male body produces a shape that looks wrong on a male frame and reads immediately as artificial.

The male objective is different. Squarer rather than round. Fullness placed laterally and lower to widen the silhouette and fill hip dips, rather than stacked high to create a shelf. Projection that is proportionate to your shoulders and back rather than maximised. The goal is a fuller, more athletic-looking lower body, not curves.

What to Expect

Treatment is a series of injections placed into the targeted areas surrounding the buttocks. It is minimally invasive and performed in clinic.

You will see an immediate change from the HYAcorp component, with further improvement over the following days as initial swelling settles. The Lanluma component builds progressively over the following months as collagen production increases.

Downtime is minimal. Mild swelling or bruising is common and typically settles within a few days. Results from the HYAcorp element typically last twelve to twenty-four months, and the Lanluma collagen response lasts up to five years. Periodic top-up sessions maintain the result, and your practitioner will advise on timing.
